3 Tips for Stress Free Dressing

If you're like us, there’s always an event in the pipeline.

The challenge is, “what will I wear?"

We've got a few tips that will set you up for success and eliminate stress when you're getting ready.

1. Plan ahead

I know, it’s stating the obvious. Planning ahead never gets overrated. Give yourself enough time to think about what you’d like to wear well in advance. Think of the season, the time of the event, and the location. All of these things can make a difference when figuring out what to wear. Don’t forget to consider your shoes, jewelry, and any other accessories. Those things matter! If you pre-plan and give yourself options, you can save some time.

2. Try your clothes on

Yes, I said it. Try your clothes on before the day of your event. You may have worn that white button down shirt with jeans, but now you’re wearing it with slacks. Don’t get stuck rocking the boat of uncertainty. Women in particular, may feel differently at certain times of the month. Try your clothes on and save yourself some time.

3. Have a backup plan

Always have a backup! Don’t put all of your hopes and dreams in your favorite black dress that you’ve had for the last eight years! We’ve seen it happen. Broken zippers and snagged hemlines aren’t fun. Have a second choice, just in case. What’s the worst that can happen? If you don’t wear your second choice, you'll be ahead of the game for your next event.
