What's Your Body Type?
It's all about the perfect fit. If the clothes don’t fit . . . I'll let you finish that sentence.
Not every trend is for every body, and that’s okay. There is value in dressing for your specific body shape. We promise that you’ll be more comfortable and confident if you embrace your silhouette, rather than work against it. So how do we figure this out? The first step is to know your body type. The four most commonly known body types are:
Inverted Triangles
Rectangles
Triangles (Pear Shaped)
Hourglass
Once you have your standard measurements, you’ll use those numbers to determine your body shape.
You may find that doing the equation with your shoulders versus your bust places you in two different body type categories. This means your body type may actually span more than one category; If this is the case for you, consider both body types when shopping and, ultimately, make purchases by seeing what looks best on you.
Rather than compare your body to pictures of celebrities or fruit, which can leave you feeling all sorts of confused, get out your tape measure and and we'll help you find your real body shape. Yes, your tape measure! You know we were going to tell you to get to measuring! Don’t have one; get one here. That's what the Bespoke Lifestyle is about - using your measurements to get the perfect fit.
There are a few key body parts to measure: shoulders, bust, waist and hips. Need help on how to get those measurements? Reach out to us for custom measurements.
I've got some great examples to show you! Let's get started!
